這個躺著觀看的VR沉浸式體驗,
以作者疫情之下被隔離的經驗出發,陳述在無法逃離的獨處中,幻想遠行離開,卻又不斷下墜,回到現實的輪迴之中。

This VR immersive experience must be watched while lying down. Based on the author's experience of being quarantined under the epidemic. In the solitude that cannot be escaped, imagine to travel far, but constantly falling back into the reincarnation of reality.

孤立、無法逃離,於是幻想遠行。
卻不斷下墜,回到現實的輪迴之中......

獨自一人面對「無限的時間」
Facing "infinite time" alone






在隔離的時候,我感受到前所未有,遺世獨立的孤寂。沒有人能理解:困住我的並不只是空間——而是整個外界的時空和我所處的完全不同 時間停滯,變成一種折磨。我不斷輪迴在每一天之中,無法擺脫……

虛擬實境中,我試圖探討人與空間的關係與自身的互動連結、而「時間」又是如何深深地影響著我們。

在隔絕的場所裡,時間和空間都被刻意地放大。如果我們所認知到的「時間」概念並不是唯一的呢?眼裡的世界將會變得如何?我想用虛擬實境來提出對時間的懷疑,顛覆這個既有的概念。
When I was in quarantine, I felt the unprecedented loneliness of independence.
No one can understand: It's not just space that traps me—it's the entire time and space of the outside world that is completely different from where I am. Time seems to be stagnant, turning into a torture. I continue to reincarnate every day, unable to get rid of...

In the virtual reality, I tried to explore the relationship between people and space, the interaction between people and themselves, and how “time” deeply affects us.

In isolated places, time and space are deliberately enlarged. What if the concept of "time" that we recognize is not the only one? What will the world look like in your eyes? I want to use virtual reality to raise doubts about time and subvert this existing concept.

體驗為三種場景構成:
Whole experience is composed of three scenarios:
1.房間
  Room






- 隔離的現實 Reality of isolated

- 隨著每次輪迴,逐漸縮小壓迫
With each reincarnation, it gradually shrinks and oppresses

2.時空隧道
  Time Tunnel






- 逃避現實 Escapism

- 連接現實與想像的「通道」
The "aisle" connecting the room (reality) and natural scenes (imaginary space)



3.自然場景(多個)
  Natural scene (multiple)






- 象徵內心追求的廣闊
Symbolizes the vastness of inner pursuit

- 時間感緩慢(或極快)
The time is slow (or extremely fast)

分鏡:每一次輪迴的時間相同,但距離不同,所以根據 「距離÷時間=速率」 體驗下墜的速度會越來越快
且每次回到的房間擺設相同,但空間縮小
Storyboard: The time of each reincarnation is the same but the distance is different.
According to "Distance ÷ Time = Speed". The falling speed will get faster and faster.
And every time I return to the room, the furnishings are the same, but the space is reduced.

房間初稿。想像中的房間,有著隔離所需最低限度的生活品質、擺設毫無生氣。
有一扇大大的窗戶緊緊鎖著,窗戶上貼了藍天白雲的壁紙。
First draft of the room. The imaginary room has the minimum quality of life required for isolation, and the furnishings are lifeless. There is a large window that is tightly locked, and a wallpaper of blue sky and white clouds is pasted on the window.

剛開始時,我把「空間」和「時間」這兩個主題混淆,不小心往禪修與超脫眼界上前進。(隔離讓我聯想到修行:必須忍耐現狀,考驗心智,等待的果實便是自由)
抽絲剝繭後,我得出結論:「在有限的空間中,經歷無限的時間。

At the beginning, I confused the two themes of "space" and "time," and accidentally moved on to the realm of meditation and detachment.
After pulling away, I came to the conclusion: "In a limited space, experience infinite time."
